It sounds like a used 4Runner is exactly what you need. She will adjust to the size after awhile and they are great family vehicles. My wife has a 4Runner and she loves that truck. It is much nicer to travel in for family trips than my Tacoma.

Do you have smog where you are? You may not have to fix it.

News sounds pretty good this morning. I may take the cash and keep the car

Yes, we have emissions testing here in Seattle. It's currently off the list till vw resolves the issue but it will have to be tested at some point.

Can you post a reference to how they are going to neuter the performance? There is absolutely no fix announced, no info that has been released, they have no idea what to fix them.

I not CLAIMING a fucking thing. I am only speaking to what I believe to be the easiest resolution for this problem. You obviously don't want to read the things I say, so do us both a favor and go away. You can go start your own thread about Vw diesel. I promise I will avoid it like its a plague.

Because I'm an asshole. Like have said before, I am only speculating on what I believe will be the easiest fix. If they turn on all the current emissions in the car, I THINK it will kill the performance. I am not the only person with these theories. The only solution that wouldn't kill the performance would be DEF system. I don't believe they will because it will take to long to find the space to install, design a system to fit space/emissions requirements, test it, get the epa to approve it, then mass produce and install in half a million cars.

So the tentative offer as it reads in the court filling, is nada clean trade in value from September 2015. So pre scandal. Plus 20% of that value, plus $2900 on top of everything else. It sounds as thought they have 6ish more months to come up with a fix. I'm not a fan of the trade in value BS. We weren't planning on selling this car. So why should I have to take trade in value for it?

Did you look up your numbers on the chart? I'm gonna make out pretty good, though I think it should be better. I'll take the buyout though it's more than I thought it would be

If you haven't calculated the final number using their chart you might be surprised. Depends what year and Mike's and options you have though. The newer the car the worse the deal is
