Hey everyone I am currently waiting on the dealer to deliver my truck its a 2014 TRD Off Road DCSB newest vehicle I've ever owned and most money I've ever spent on anything in my life.

I run on the local ambulance and on a couple of volunteer fire departments so I plan to install my lights and siren as soon as I get the truck. I'm curious if anyone could recommend a mounting spot for the siren box inside the truck, its about the same size as a CB also how hard is wiring to get from under the hood back into the cab for power/speakers?

The second thing I am trying to problem solve before the truck is even here is where to run my wiring for my lightbar, its a magnetically mounted minibar with a quick connector on the end. I would prefer to get the wiring in through somewhere other than the door frame so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Welcome. There appears to be plenty of room in the grill for the siren box. I haven't wired any lights or emergency equipment in mine but I would look at the possibility or running the lightbar power through the sliding back window. Show us some pics when you get it and some project pics when you install!

I'll have enough room under hood or in grill for the speakers I was looking on the test drive the control box is cb sized and I didn't really see anywhere to mount it out of the way

Hey welcome I'm new too, I have a 2015 TRD Sport and I'm also a firefighter, I think you could probably mount the siren box in the center console theres enough room in there but wiring could be difficult to the center console.

Here's the pics I got on lunch I'll try to refine the post when I get off work I have another picture that shows the end I need to run in, is anyone running a light bar across the top of the windshield and if so where did you run the wiring for that into the truck?

sweet truck bro, I have all my lights mounted inside on the windshield to avoid having to run wiring into the truck but that light bar looks pretty cool on top.

Got started on the install for my siren today personally feel like it went pretty good hardest part was figuring out how to get my wires through the firewall after that it was pretty much cake. I still have to get the wiring hooked up but at least it is all ran. I have 3-14G wires running from under the hood 1 power 2 for the speaker and I have a ground wire inside the center console I believe its the same ground the inverter uses, everything runs under the drivers side to the center console then back to the storage compartment in the center console and up through the holes under the carpet. I plan to get some strong velcro to hold the siren box to the side of the compartment and place the speaker in the passenger side wheel well near the firewall.
