I buy my oil at Walmart, either Pennzoil Platinum or Mobil 1 and it's made in the same places that all the other Pennzoil and Mobil 1 is. Difference is that Walmart sells it to me cheaper than other stores do. I also buy my filters at the dealership for about $4 each, they are cheaper than almost anyone sells filters for and OEM quality

That's why the name is Walmart on the front plastic jug. If you look on the back of all these different name brand oil containers. They have to meet manufacturers specifications, in which they all do meet the requirements. So it's really is what name brand they convince you to buy? Do you buy name brand drugs or the generic brand? Where are we going with this thread!

Heard Warren Oil Company makes SuperTech oils found in Walmart. They also carry another cheap brand of motor oil by Motorcraft which is made by Conoco-Phillips. But for the same price I can buy Valvoline synthetic so thats what I went with. I now have Valvoline lubricants in nearly all my systems. Motor oil, diffs, transfer case, transmission and power steering. Hard to beat their price point for a name brand.

I plan to start running SuperTech. Went to Walmart the other day. I can a whole oil change with there products for 19 bucks. That’s a ton cheaper. I’m strict on oil change intervals and Supertech meets all the criteria.

For synthetic, Mobil 1 or Pennz Platinum, depending on who has a rebate at the time. Supertech synthetic is a good oil too. You can also get away with a good conventional if you're consistent with your OCI's. I go with what's cheapest every 5K.

If there is ever a shortage of electrons in the universe it will be because of the waste of them in all the oil threads on this site

I use to always only use Valvoline synpower, now ive been using Quaker State full syn. Both meet API and DEXOS ratings. It seems not alot of people run Quaker State so whatever reason

All i run is super tech oil. I went into wally world going to buy a oil change for the wife's car. I usually use Castrol oil. I was debating on spending 40.00 for oil. When a guy walked up grabbed a case of super tech. I asked him if it was any good. He told me that's all they use in there oil field trucks. And all them have between 100 and 150 thousand miles on them. I started useing it and that's all I use. Never had any problems with it.
