I'm new to the site and am looking for some input on what kind of lift to purchase for my 2011 Double cab LB 4WD. I'm looking for a decent 3" full suspension lift that is good for both on and off road. I've been looking at the Pro Comp 3 Inch Lift Kit with ES9000 Shocks, any other suggestions?

    thanks,

    mike

Mike, Welcome aboard. There are many different ways to lift your truck and alot of questions that you will have to ask yourself. What kind of money do you want to spend, how do you drive your truck, how aggresive are you offroad, do you want your suspension stiffer or like the softer ride, Do you want stock replacement shocks/Mid travel/long travel, and the list goes on. Do a search on TW and you will read numerous opinions and reviews of different lifts, CO's and rear spring/shock upgrades. Most common are 5100's or OME for a good bang for your buck 3" lift, If you want to spend more money than ICON/KING/FOX CO's. Best of luck in your decision and welcome.

Bilstein 5100s, or OME are both great setups that are very popular. If you are wanting more performance, then start looking at some adjustable coilovers like the Icons, Camburg, Sway-a-ways etc.

the question is really what amount of $ do you wanna spend on it. to that end, here is a simple breakdown of your options:

    5100's - $
    OME - $$$
    Icon - $$$$$

Thanks a lot for the input guys. I've done a little more research and have decided that im looking for a coilover setup in the front, with leaf springs and shocks in the rear. not looking for top of the line something mid range.

i found this setup and it seems like what im looking for, just wondering if theres any other custom setups that are equal in performance that i could build or other full manufacturer kits for a better price.

I wouldn't say icon was mid range, closer to top range really. I think its an adjustable (as opposed to fixed) coilover setup too. if that's what you want and can afford it then go for it, but its gonna be pricy.

this, (with full leaf packs and some other things) is what I bought:

a lot of us on here have the OME kit. its pretty mid range and a solid build to run on and offroad.

theres other things that youll want besides the kit in the link tho, like UCA's and random bits and pieces depending on what your build ends up looking like and how you customize it.

The Icon set-up would be a great option. They can get up to 3" of lift. Anything after 2.5" on any lift you need a Uniball UCA though.

    Icon Coilovers
    Real AAL
    Rear 2.0's
    And a UCA

is a very solid setup, great improvement on the road handling and awesome in the dirt/trail. Also getting more wheel travel.

Shoot me a PM and i can get you TW pricing on all of this if you want.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
OME/ARB makes a great riding and performance lift kit. 3" lift. You'll thank me.

dont know how i missed this set up. this looks like it would be the best for the price and everybody that has it on here seems to love it. in the link there are a bunch of options to choose from. like do i want the front top plate spacers and what option would be best for the rear.
