Want to see pictures of 3rd gen with OME 888 and ELO95R Rear Leafs.

I’m not on OME suspension, but I have to throw this out there OP. I was torn between the 95 or 96 (heavy duty) pack for the dakars and I ended up going with the 96 - it’s a very nice ride. Stiff but smooth. Couldn’t recommend the dakars more. I’m at 23.5” in the front and 25.25” in the rear. 2nd gen.

 

Keep in mind, I’m no longer running this setup

 

5100's all around and a full dakar leaf pack. Headstrong offroad kit.

I am just curious what springs he went with on the Black Retro build - 887 or 888's

Your the man - Any idea on wheels and tires? I think they were 17" Method NVs with 285-70-17 ridge grapplers

 

That is exactly it. He used spc upper arms to get the alignment good and they did not rub.

 

He went with the full OME kit or Bilstein with OME coils?

 

Full Ome. Soft ride shocks

Yeah. He and I came up with the plan for that truck for the Toyota store he works for together.

 

Did you guys end up doing a body mount chop to clear the grapplers?

 

We did not. All cleared with the arms and alignment

 

Which rear pack did you go with? Or which kit?

 

Medium duty Dakar’s.
