Want to TRADE my SCOOPED HOOD for NON

I am in Houston, Texas. I have a 2008 Silver TRD Sport. I would like to trade my scooped hood for your silver NON scooped hood. I may even throw in a few bucks too.

Picture of my truck - I think there was only one silver. Hood in great shape - no accidents, a rock chip or two though.

Seriously, where were you 3 weeks ago...? I was in Dallas and I have a non-scooped Silver Mica hood, I would have paid you for the trade. Sadly I don't plan to drive back to TX anytime soon, 21+ hrs in the Tacoma straight was hell.

This makes me wonder what shipping on something like this would be...

You are on the good side of the fewbucks. They should be tossing you the $$ with their hood. If I was offering a hood with scoop, I would want a factory colored hood plus $100.00 mnimum.

No - it's not the neighbor's truck, but that's hilarious.

I'm not traveling intentionally any time soon but might be willing to drive 100-200 miles for an exchange.

The scoop - it's one of those things that people either really like or really don't - usually not a lot of middle ground. I just don't like it. I bought the truck used last year - it was everything I wanted and at the right price (apparently. 6spd 4x4 doesn't move quickly on a Honda dealership's lot). Everything I wanted BUT the scoop. I like the painted bumpers, grill, mirrors and LSD just not that dang scoop.
