I am not currently an owner but plan to be with the 08's. I have to get one of two kids out of college first. Then it is my turn. Just to look, dream and plan at this point, so I will be able to nail it when I become an owner. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Merry Christmas to you from another Austinite... do your research before you buy and look at ALL the dealers around Austin. I had some pretty good service from Charles Maund up on 183 and not so good from Champion. Your mileage may vary though.

Welcome to the forum. Get a used one until the college expenses are done. I think I may be paying for the next 50 years. It all depends ! Merry Christmas, Jim Mann

Interesting feedback about the Austin dealers. I have bought three toyotas in the past (dad is always last) and I bought all three from Champion on South IH35. My experience was just the opposite. However, it might be just the luck of the salesman I got. When I bought my first one I good a real jerk and almost didn't go back. Then I went back and got hooked up with Jim Lee. He is a bottom line shooter, gives you basically invoice which is general within a few dollars of Edmunds so feel good about it. No hassles, I even talked to the sales manager one time when I was waiting for something and he admitted that Jim had a little different approach. Really hope to be in one by this time next year, but we will just have to see what happens.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks for the welcome. I will be sure and post some pictures when I am finally able to get my hands on one. I should have plenty of plans for it by then with all this time to plan.
