I'm looking to swap out my silver color matched mirrors and door handles for black one. Anyone have any sitting around they want to get rid of? Willing to buy/trade. Whatever, just let me know! Thanks!!

I'll pay shipping! Not sure if you need to drive the truck daily or not.

Apparently the front handles are fairly easy to remove. Here is a write up on it...http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...e-replace-door-handles-reg-access-cabs-3.html

Not sure about the mirrors. I would think you need to remove the door panel on the inside.

I have changed out my mirrors and door handles. The front handles are very easy as you said above ^. For the mirrors, you will need to remove the door panel only to access the electronic plug for the mirror. Other then that it is just 3 bolts and a clip that hold it in place. The rear handles are a little more tricky. You will need to remove the door panel and the 3 torques bolts holding the door latch in place. Once you get those bolts out just slide the door latch down out of the way of that hole and you will find the same bolt holding the door handle in place as you would in the front directly behind the door latch. None of it is really hard. It just kind of seems that way before you start.

I wish that I had this option but I ended up painting my own handles. I drove around with two door handles for a while. If you close the doors without any handles it is still possible to open them just a little difficult. If you do end up without any handles or mirrors I would suggest taping the holes for the time being so that you don't end up with water in your door.

I have a set of black mirror covers with the motors installed that I'd let go of really cheap. There is no glass, you'd have to swap over your own glass (not hard, the old pops out, new pops in. They're off my 2007, I took them off last summer because I bought a set of color matched ones. Let me know if you're interested.

Also, I don't know how close to Rauch Creek you are but a bunch of the New England guys are heading down and I might be able to send them down with one of them. If that's the case, you can have them because that would mean I wouldn't have to deal with shipping or maybe toss the guy who brings them down a few bucks or buy him a beer for helping out!

I honestly have no idea where that is at. Will the 07 fit a 2010? If so, I would pay shipping if you are willing to ship? A large flat rate box should fit them.

Sorry man, never checked back in this thread. Glad you were able to do the swap but yeah, I would have shipped them. :)
