alright im 16 years old and i have a 06 trd sport 4 door 4x4. i have some 17 inch kmc wheels with some nittos on it. But its just NOT enough. I want to do a 3" inch lift to it but i have to prove to my dad that it wont tear a drive line or anything up.. Hes very old fashioned... so whats the best kit i can get for my truck that is affordable

Bilstein 5100's + an AAL in the rear would be your best bet, and would keep it under $500. You won't be breaking anything with that minimal of a lift (2.5").

Toytec kit, OME kit, Bilsteins (like stated above) are all good options.
