I think I should find the measurements and see which one is the thinnest (width) drop bracket, (if one is wider ect) and if I install it I can switch to the other brand. Like if I get one that is wider than the other it will leave too much of a gap if I switch to the other brand after.
And i just saw that you can use stock wheels with a 2 inch spacer. Guess that' a new thing? Still looks pretty damn good to me Screenshot_20180523-194557.jpg

What thin piece are you referring to?
2 inch spacer on the wheels is asking for trouble

Lol no I meant. The front drop bracket. Picture the rough country next to the bds or any other brand. What if a different brand is a different size width when it comes to the front drop bracket size. If I get the kit width the widest drop bracket I won' be able to switch because it would leave a huge gap.
Like what if a brand makes their front bracket un replaceable with a different brand

Why the hell would you want to switch anyway?
Sounds like you're trying the cheapest route first, which in my opinion is the WRONG way to go about this. Spend the money once...buy once cry once.

But the rough country comes with cheap shocks. The bds comes with better shocks. Rough country said i can upgrade shocks for 300 extra. But does that mean it' gonna be as good or better as the bds? Idk

I'm still confused as hell as to what you're asking honestly. I think you're trying to compare the metal thickness of the RC vs the BDS, but you say "width" which doesn't register with me, cause "width" to me on any vehicle is track width.

As for the shocks...it's just the rears you'd be upgrading for that $300, and to what? Is RC's upgrade to Fox, or some house brand?

I doubt you can do that with RC like you can with BDS to fox.

I suck at these forums. Sorry but let's say the rough country is 28 in wide and the BDS is 27 in wide I wouldn't be able to switch once I have a certain drop bracket in the front because you have to cut a certain length

The smallest drop bracket that way I can switch down the road if I really have to. Not trying to go the cheaper route. Cuz in the long run I'll definitely be paying for it

Pretty sure RC is cheaper than a BDS 6 inch setup.

The widths will be the same because your LCAS mount to them. But why you would plan to switch is confusing. Go get decent shocks but it won’t matter much since you said it won’t ever see offroad. Your track width will be the same with any kit. I don’t think a kit exists as a drop bracket that widens the track width.
BDS is solid, I had an 8 inch on my Cummins and it was stout. My buddy has it on his Tacoma and he wheels it pretty hard. Rough County is the cheapest and if it’s pavement only (which is fine) I’d just get that

What is so hard? The difference between the Zone and RC is $184?? You were smart enough to come on a forum and ask, so why not just wait a few weeks, save the money and get the better product.

Rough Country was made for rotted out Jeeps.
