Why do you say that? As I understand it, the No-Slip is the roadworthy brother of the Lockright.

if you want a full time locker thats built for the street, but obviously is a locker and does what its supposed to do offroad, the no-slip is the best choice! I agree that if it is STRICTLY a street truck go with an LSD but the OP says he also wants to offroad

I'm gonna have to take a look at this no-slip. but so far ive found out i need a Bearing Carrier drop kit, squeeky leaf pack fix,put a locker in, and need to regear. LOL and about the regearing should i just take the third member out and bring it to east cost gears? what parts do i need to buy if i do that? obviously ring and pinion gears but what else to hand them and say just do the install. so i can get the parts cheaper.

I would call ECGS and talk to Chase. My experience has been that he has what you want already assembled on the shelf. You hand him your third, he hands you what you want. You can't get parts cheaper than Chase does, no need to screw yourself and buy parts somewhere else.

I don't understand the thought behind uneven tire wear. If you were Derek Zoolander and only made right hand turns your entire life it would make sense. However, most of us generally turn both left and right so wouldn't the end result end up fairly even?

changed my mind today and might go with LSD, i was going on an on-ramp yesterday and it goes up and loops to the right. and the only thing i could think of was if i had a locker and it was wet i wouldn't be able to drive up it.

I have an Auburn Gear lsd in the rear. I've had it installed for about a year now and been on several 4x4 trips where it's come in handy-one of those, I really wished for a full locker was a steeper section of loose rock and other forest debris-spotters said there were a couple of times with rear wouldn't lock. The truck is my daily driver-no problems there either.

a locker like no-slip is only locked when pressure is applied (gas applied). so with an on-ramp that is uphill and to the right. you have to apply gas the whole time during the loop. if its wet and you have that locker, you will basically drift the whole loop with wheels spinning. lol

Yes. It absolutely helps but it's not quite ATRAC. I experienced it's help on Sunday at an offroad park and was quite pleased.

You got it? gas it in a turn and see what happens (now add wet pavement). you probably dont use the gas in a turn. it unlocks because there is no pressure when gas is not applied.
