Just wanted to give an update on the vendor. I emailed him back and told him that I was able to find numerous places with better prices than he had to offer and provided a few of the links to different sites. In the same email I asked for a price for a smittybilt 8k and 10k with synthetic. He replied back with only the prices for those two winches and did not respond to me asking him to come up with better pricing so I guess this is off for the time being, I will try and pursue some other vendors. I apologize for this temporarily falling through.

i know this is kinda stalled right now...but i just hopped on the front bumper GB and need a winch as well.

Just wanted to give everybody an update. I got into contact with Scott from truckaddons.com and he was able to get me some good prices on winches. I will be emailing everybody that showed interest for a winch in this thread and will be starting a new thread for the new group buy. Scott has guaranteed these prices as long as we get 10 participants and I will post up all of the details in the new group buy thread, I am pming a mod after this to have this thread close so all further inquiry will be properly directed to the new group buy thread.

I am sorry this one fell through but the vendor I originally contacted turned out to be kind of flaky. A member from this site contacted him and tried to get a winch and was treated very poorly over the phone so we have chosen to find somebody else. Thanks for your understanding.
