    Hello everyone,

So here's the story after a little over a year of having my beautiful car with all of its beautiful abilities one touch from an apple device and well it all went to hell. I have connected basically all kinds of phones to my car via Bluetooth except the new iPhone 6 or 6 plus, until today, what a mistake that was. My GF decided she wants to listen to her music so we connected her iPhone 6-plus to the car via Bluetooth well guess what now the only thing that works is the weather and the radio so DO NOT connect an IOS8 device to your car no matter what car it is DON'T do it after some research i have found that there is no fix to this issue and i will no longer enjoy my Bluetooth capabilities or my nav for a very long time. I've tried resetting it didn't change a thing when i go into my settings menu the Bluetooth or phone menu buttons aren't press-able its like it was wiped from existence and when i go into the navi screen all i see is loading map as if its loading a map of the universe because it never actually loads -_-. I also found out this problems occurs in basically all makes and models of any vehicle known to man kind.
If anyone is having this issue and figured out how to fix it please let me know.

    Best regards,
    MR. CaliBR

Hi Calibr, did you get this fixed? My daughter drove my truck on day and the next I didn't have navigation nor Bluetooth. I can't get it back no matter what I tried. Connection was working fine with my Windows Phone 8.1. Frustrating....

Doug did you try deleting your daughter's phone from the head unit? If she's near the truck when you start it (within Bluetooth range) the head unit may be keeping her settings stored in it.

Hi Justin, yes, the problem is the phone and Bluetooth selections are "greyed" out and not available in the current state. I did find a menu that still had her phone selected and mine listed, when I select my phone I get a continuous "waiting for Bluetooth" message....frustrating.

Stupid question here: are you driving when in this menu? Is that the source menu? I'm going off the top of my memory here.

Also, if you don't have it, this is a link to the manual (256 pages of FUN!) that is out there. I'm thumbing through it now.

I said the same thing a few posts up, I'm sure that's the problem because as soon as it's in motion you can't set-up anything (same any other newer car I drove for work) and it's grayed out

Yea thought I remembered seeing that asked earlier.

I found in the manual how to delete bluetooth devices from the head unit:
Apps> Setup> Bluetooth> Choose device then "Remove" option on screen

In addition to this being done on the head unit, on the actual cell phone I would go into Settings> Bluetooth> and choose the head unit name (Maybe called TOYOTA Tacoma) hit the blue "i" and choose Forget This Device up top.

Although I do not have Etunes, I had a similar issue last night. When my iPhone is paired with my car, an incoming notification will essentially freeze the radio and display the message "Talking..." on the display unit until I turn off Bluetooth.

I took my truck in for 15k service today and had them look at the Entune. They told me there was a service bulleting on "no navigation, no Bluetooth". They updated the unit, reloading the SW. All is good for now!!

I have a 2015 Toyota Tundra that has the same unit with navigation. A couple weeks ago, I couldn't connect my phone or any device, for that matter. When I tried to connect a phone, I got the message "Waiting for Bluetooth..." I tried everything, to no avail. Then, out of the blue, it started working. As I began to retrace the events leading up to the error, I found that a friend of my son connected his iPhone 5c, iOS 9 to the system. We listened to a song or two and he disconnected from the system. The morning after is when the problems started. I was going to contact the dealer, but, in the meantime, my sons friend came back over to visit as I was leaving. Lo and behold, my bluetooth started working again! I removed all the connected phones, and reconnected mine and it works as before. In searching for a remedy, I came across several threads in other forums that described the same scenario. The only thing I can think of is that my sons friends phone locked up my system, until the phone got back in range.

I don't know if this will help, but I though I would relay the info.

    Dan
