Was there any OEM W/O Chrome Grilles?

I'm getting my front end repaired by a local shop and i'm taking advantage of eliminating the chrome.

For the first Gen 01-04 was there any non chrome grilles? I want to get one that's not painted so they can color match it.

If any one has a link or part number

Yes some models came with color matched grilles, fender flares, and bumpers. It was the Sr5 Color matched option I believe, as well as many limited models.

The Insurance is paying for it so should i go OEM? I am going to cut out the middle and install a BDF Grille...

Also the "silver" color, would that match my "lunar mist" 2003 color?

It should. I'd just go to your local dealer, or call that site up and ask of it is indeed Lunar Mist Metallic. I have an aftermarket non oem grille on my after I made my mesh grille, and it's hard to tell it isn't OEM the fit is great. But if they are footing the bill I'd go OEM. Are you going to color match the rest of your truck as well?

 

Yes, I'm color matching the Front bumper as well (until i can afford an aftermarket)

and i'll probably get a different rear bumper down the rode too.
