That's from a couple years ago. Definitely nice to have oversized tires to air down in the sand, we towed so many idiots out of the sugar sand...

I was there a few weeks ago. It's pretty nice. Regretted not staying for more than a single night. But leaving the next day allowed me to take to the sand in my truck. Was a little too far to walk with little kids in tow.

Do let us know how it turns out. Getting trapped in the cove by the tide is one thing, but having the tide go all the way back is another. :D

Taco X Jeep - Ocean.jpg Fort Steven's was fun, found a jeep in the ocean. Picked up a 79" CVT Awning I need mounted onto my rack. Anyone have recommendations for someone in the Seattle area that can help me with that? Thinking I need a custom mount...

Have you checked with Mule? I thought they also did some fabrication.

How am i just learning about Mule now?? Damn, going to reach out. The challenge is my custom rack and mounting the awning onto it, the L mount is too big.

If you've never been to Mule, highly recommend you check it out. Candy store, for sure. When you say the L mount is to big, do you mean length of the arms? How do you have your tent rails mounted? I have my awning mounted to the tent and not the bed rack. Is that an option for you?

The way my rack is built, I would have to get another bracket to clamp onto my rack. Please see attached photos for a better idea of what I'm working with. Has anyone worked with adventure-ready in Seattle? Bit closer to home than Mule. Would love to get this done for next weekend.

Maybe something like this could work? Seems a bit pricey, but if you are thinking about custom fab, might be comparable:

    https://overlandequipped.com/produc...lock-from-bomber-products?variant=22747948037

Edit: Some of the photos look like product has evolved. In one Photo, you see the base unit has a "t" section which looks like it will accept a cross bar, while in others that area is missing. Still, might be worth looking into.

    Another option?

    https://www.gziladesigns.com/product-page/awning-1100-mounting-clamps

Still can't find the one I am thinking, but ran into these.

Edit the edit: Found it. This was what I had in mind:

Didn't notice the responses till now; yeah about the jeep... no clue. Guy drove up and said it happened yesterday and no one was reported hurt. I was tempted to attempt to pull it out but didn't have anyone (another tow) with me.

    Mounting awning today, fingers crossed.

Any of you drive the white taco w/ awning and badass setup around Ballard? Slowly starting to see more tacos around with tents/awesomeness.
