I would like to see a dyno sheet of a 1gr vs the canyon i5.

I bet our power band looks a lot nicer.

This reminds me about a friend. He had an early model S10 with the 4.3 (this was before I knew him) but told me it was pretty bad a$$. Then he bought a new one with the same engine and said he was very disappointed in it. Said it was nothing like the earlier model. I don't know the story behind them but remember he had someone from the Cheby stealership tell him that the new ones were restricted. WTF? Why put a powerful engine in a small truck then restrict it? Maybe this Canyon/Colorado could be the same? :notsure:

    Yes and no.

The basic system is included in most GM cars standard now.
I'm pretty sure the onboard vehicle diagnostics is included no charge (monitors OBD and displays pending codes on your web account)
The 911 service upon airbag deployment is included at no charge.

You can add the OnStar as a companion phone on your Verizon account, however, Verizon requires that the OnStar account be paid ahead a full 12-months, meaning you have to renew OnStar a YEAR before it expires.
There is a charge for that, as well as the directional assistance.

    Wrong... http://www.midwaymotorsgm.com/Vehic...b_4_Wheel_Drive_SLE_1-McPherson-KS/1719120243

I know I may be coming off as a GM fanboy. But hear me out. I don't hate GM. However, if you're going to make an argument against them then get your damn facts straight before you spout it as truth or you come off just a ridiculous sounding as the freakin' dealership made video we're all joking about. False claims about one thing countered by false claims about the other just makes for a big shit box of misinformation.

    +1

There's enough "bad" in the bad things in this world that we do not need to lie about them to make them look worse. It only hurts our own credibility and makes people tend to not believe us when we are not lying about something bad in the world.

I see this all the time in political discussions... someone claims that so and so said something, and half the people in the room know that it's not true, but half of them are silently nodding hoping that it will sway someone's opinion their way.

Its like they pulled up a Tacoma on the good ol' Google machine and said..."alright boys lets design something that we can burn the tacoma with."

Talk about a target add.. Also not avilable in Tacoma, and last time I checked a tacoma dont need an ONSTAR! Lame add!

Blah blah on star if I want it I can get it matter fact installed one in a tundra and a sequoia leather seats ha ever heard of katskins and Clazzio but even the Clazzio leather PVC last longer than th Colorado leather. And can't wait till the radio fails in the Colorado that means no onstar and that wire harness for aftermarket radio is like 100+ plus and try adding remote starter and alarm yea those colorados are a pita not to mention they use one wire to to power relays that power second ign acc and starter. Of if the driver speaker ever fails that means no onstar or door chimes and on the newer ones no turn signal clicking

Haha! I did say something to that affect on their comment page. When did having a bench seat up front become a "luxury"?
