My 2008 Tacoma with 62K Miles is worth: 21,610 according to KBB
My Tacoma's MSRP was about 25K

An "equivalent" GMC Canyon with the same miles: 14K.
An "equivalently" equipped new GMC Canyon is about 26K.

Tacoma's loss is only about 4K, which isn't really a loss for me since the tacoma was bought for 21K anyways.

The Canyon's loss is 12K! (granted, one paid the MSRP price)

Toyota has Safety, Reliability, Looks, Power, and Resale Value all on their side.

    nothing cool
Damn! I commented on page 7 that this thread BLEW UP! All things considered (tacomas are better at this/that). The taco is the best looking truck. Even if, I said IF, the tacoma wasn't that great it would still be the best looking truck. That pic of the Canyon with the zero ground clearance is funny. And yes, the Frontier is a pretty cool truck. But it looks horrible too. At least 1 out of 10 gas fill ups someone comes up to me to comment how cool my truck looks. I had a Ford Ranger for 5 years, not once did someone comment on my truck.

I agree, in fact that might have been what truly sold me on the Tacoma, the fact that I can get a 2WD Tacoma that actually LOOKS like a Truck, as I honestly have no need for 4WD. When I was 16 I never would've bought a 2WD, but now I'm older and more mature and know what is necessary and what isn't.

You have to get a 4WD fullsize for it to look good, 2WD fullsizes just don't do it for me.

I heard about that. You tell it where you want to go, then it guides you to someplace else.....Dealers are sayin its normal, or due to too large of a lift.

LOL!! When I bought the TRD intake to dyno, they told me it was good for 20+ hp. I asked him "If it doesnt give half that, can I return it?". They agreed, I brought the dyno sheet in 3 days later, and they gave me all my money back.

We let things slide as long as they arent too far out of line. Calling someone a dumbass without good reason is a worse offense.

I believe I have good [enough] reason. So what slides and what doesnt? What rules are followed and what ones dont matter?

Either way I will keep my taco.

I'm not telling you who to vote for, nor am I calling out anyone else for their views. I'm showing support for who I like. I don't see how that makes one a "dumbass."

    Thank you Chris
