I just know my Taco will last longer, and will always look better than the Canyon!
This is just my opinion though...

sales volume...and resale value, would suggest that the market supports your opinion.

The canyon looks like pooh...........Better gas mileage they say, but I had a 5.3 Silverado that never got 21mpg like it boasts. OnStar is cool if you're into that whole "Big Brother" thing.

I now hate the word Canyon... geeze that video was bad. Tacomas don't need "onstar", im smart enough to know when to change my oil, and come on "sleek styling"? Bahahahaha did you see how much stock travel that thing has?? it was never meant to go off road

GM can add on all the features they want to on the canyon/coloado models and still wont equal a tocoma.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig.

Edited to add...Ive had good luck with chevy full sized trucks, still have one with a utility body. So no brand loyalty on my part. Read the colorado/canyon fan forums. There is excessive discussion of electrical gremlins, lack of quality control, quality parts, comfort and aftermarket support. Fan forums that shoot their own-theres your sign.
