    this is the entrance to the parking lot that i was parked in, there is a street going across the screen, and on the far side of the picture there was another parking lot that luckly was closed from Irene messing it up

    For engineering purposes, liquids are essentially incompressible. So when you get liquid between the brake pads and the rotors, it's going to make the brakes feel really firm.
