Hey guys I've read all the threads. Trying to track down my water on my passenger floor board situation. Lots of rain out here. I thought it could be the ac vent tube, nope. Not that. I have pulled back he carpet and found the bottom of where it's leaking. Ran water down the winsheild from the top, and that's when the water comes in. Doesn't take long. I have included a pic. Can anyone give me any ideas on what's clogged or is it my winsheild seal?

In the pic it's to the right of that bolt. You can see the wet drip.

You going to have to grab the water hose and see if you can reproduce the leak. It could be the heater hose grommets leaking between the engine compartment and the cab. You won't know until you can reproduce the leak.

Roger. I'll try to pour water in some different spots and see where makes it come in. I was just pouring it above the winsheild.

But I can get it to produce the leak lol. Water def is coming in when I used the hose. Now I guess I just need to see where that may be.

I have pored water down the windshield and not the top and the door was open to rule out door seal. Still coming in same spot

It might be coming in the wiper cowl and entering in through the fresh air vent and leaking into the passenger compartment. There was an issue of this problem on the rav 4. The water drain hole under the cowl may be clogged causing water to back up. Hope this helps.

Well, that looks like a real pain in my butt. Am I going to need all the "Kent" products or have you guys used anything else.

What's everyones usual spot on this, under the hood or the fender. Really not looking forward to that one.

Well I'm gone for a week, cleared of the garage and got it in there. It's cold out here, have the windows down and a fan on it. Have the carpet pulled up with some boards under to get some airflow in there. While I'm gone I'll search for all the needed crap and get it ordered. Hopefully it dries out with no mold or mildew smell.
I'll get pics when I do it so maybe others can use. Hoping that fixes it.

Thats kinda a weird spot for water intrusion. Especially considering the weather stripping looks to be in good shape.

The bolts have thread locker on them. It is easiest to use a impact to get them out. My Milwaukee 18V 1/4inch impact zipped them out without a problem. Be careful, they are not the highest quality bolts and they will snap if too much torque is applied. If you absolutely have to....use some heat from a soldering gun to loosen the thread locker.
