I have a need for a hard tonneau cover for my 2017 Tacoma 4 door TRD 4x4 Inferno (less than 600 miles). I want something that is mostly water resistant, with good security. I teach CPR classes and would like to lock my gear into my truck bed for convenience --I know I could just put them onto the folded back seats without any additional cost. Any recommendations are appreciated. Any brand to stay away from? Thoughts or concerns.

Good Tonneau brands include SnugTop, A.R.E; etc.

A lot of great options out there when it comes to tonneaucovers. As Inwood Customs mentioned, DiamondBack is extremely durable/secure. They range anywhere from $1199-1899 typically. It really depends the price range you're looking to be in. There's a lot of hard folding covers priced between $600-$900 and there's also the 1-piece UnderCover Covers that are around $700-$859.00.
