The plan is this. Once I get enough capita saved up off these, I hope to be able to place bulk orders and keep these stocked in-house. That will drastically reduce lead times by 3ish days.

So wires coming out of the box go both to the switch, and also to the light bar etc

Exactly. It is like any OEM fuse block in the sense of out to switch and then out to accessory. 2 separate harnesses. Or many, whatever you choose.

Oh wow. This is much cleaner than my blue sea fuse block. I don't have a whole lot of aftermarket lights compared to some but I'm super anal about wiring. I will be purchasing one of these in the future!

Awesome. Yes these are super clean.

The blue sea block is great. But none of us use it as it was Designed. For in cab, installation. It was not designed to be exposed to the elements. That's why there open design.

Not to mention there's no support for relays on them ;)

Take a look at our in cab fuse block. Open design, no cover. Now look at the one under the hood. Has a cover, not the best one, but still some sort of ingress protection.

I understand that the majority of is don't get water up to the hood, or stuck in mud. A little corrosion can mess up a great day. The relays the manufacturer send to us with our accessories, are not the water proof style. Hella does. That's about it though.

With just one winter under the hood, a couple of my relays were corroded and I was starting to question the reliability.

Relays are another accessory meant to be installed in cab or in an environmentally seals enclosure.

These boxes solve all the problems mentioned above and with my handy work, add cable management in a nice clean custom package

Knew it was coming - so no surprise there - but holy smokes this thing looks like NASA built it. Thoroughly impressed.

Honestly Shygear, you may have over built these a bit. If I ever have an electrical issue in the future, I can totally ignore anything within a foot of this relay box.

I'm glad I didn't go to the effort of building one myself - it would have cost just as much if not more and would not of had the same craftsmanship level.

I'll post some install pics of mine sometime this weekend.

Thanks Stan. I like to treat every thing i do like it was going to be mine or installed on my truck. Coincidentally, dad worked for N.A.S.A. and I hung out there every day as a kid...

From what I have been able to observe, Ze - Yotamac, has a similar attention to detail. Might want to take a look at his overbuild mounting plates for them too.!

Would I still need to run an inline breaker? And also if I have you the length to my switches and to each light you would make the wires that long? If so your are an amazing person haha

No expert here, but everyone's needs will be a little different.

I'm not running a bunch of amperage through mine so I probably don't need an inline breaker - but I'm putting one in mostly to use as a power cut-off switch. That-a-way I can work on things and know the circuit is off without having to physically disconnect anything.

Got mine a couple days ago. Been super swamped and haven't had a chance to get her installed yet. Hopefully sometime this weekend I will be able to.

As many have said the cost isn't much more than buying all the parts and building yourself but the craftsman ship is top notch.

For people that don't have a lot of time to do this, sky gear is definetely the guy to go to. He makes these custom to your exact needs and saves a ton of time doing it yourself and again for the couple bucks your saving doing it yourself isn't worth it.

This box was definetely better than I could've imagined. Keep it up. When someone mentions blue sea I'll pop this thread up.

    Thanks. Again

Breakers are nice but not necessary. As mentioned, everyone's needs are different.

Yes to the custom harnesses. Normally I leave a 2' length to be terminated whatever. But each install is unique. You tell me your needs and ill get it built.
