I’ve owned Jeeps nearly my entire life until i bought this Tacoma, & i have never done the “wave” thing. Mainly because it’s weird since i don’t even know you. My vehicle purchase was about what i wanted. Not because of you or what you drove. Fuck you... I do wave at the UPS & FedEx people tho. They deliver my shit. I love those people.

You all need to remember that pre-Tacoma, Pre-mini 4x4 truck, pre samy, in the 50’s and 60’s, there was nothing on the market that could come close to the off road performance of a Jeep except maybe a heavy Land Cruiser. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and everyone in a Jeep waved because it was “a Jeep thing”. Like Jeep vs Land Cruiser. Jeeps were very unique and offered something no other vehicles could. And don’t get me started with the number is Scouts and Broncos that my CJ5 had to tow through the Rubicon.

I had a jeep for a bit in the 70s and rode with plenty others, don't ever remember any jeep sign wave. Different strokes for different folks.

Did you have a CJ? All jeeps waved in my town and most still do.

Nope, had an MB with flathead 4. The original jeep. Friend had a CJ2 with 327 Chevy small block. Neighbor had a CJ3a with a V6.

Might be a regional thing, I grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I waved everytime.
