I have the WeBoost Drive 4G-M

    https://www.weboost.com/products/drive-4gm

I put a Wilson 311125 12” antenna on the back of the truck via a pod mount antenna platform that attaches to inside bed.

Tacoma Tailgate Pods Mount CB Antenna Led Whip Light Mounting Bracket Flag Holder Compatible with 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma 2016+ Passenger Side https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B87ZCN7T

The antenna was a magnet mount and first week of offroading, it got ripped right off and is now somewhere on the Alpine Loop near Ouray.

I need a solution that allows me to bolt it to the pod mount.

Any suggestions for a compatible antenna that will bolt to the pod mount?

Finally found a company that was able to help.

here is the correct solution for future reference.

Marketty SS-3H CB Antenna Spring, Stainless Steel Heavy Duty CB Radio Antenna Mount Spring, Spring to Fit Mobile/in-Vehicle CB Radio Antenna Mount Up to 60" Long and 3/8" X 24 Thread (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MTCNL84

Then use whatever mount you want. The whip and the antenna allows the antenna to catch on branch and bend but not break.

Below is the setup with the magnet mount antenna which isn't durable enough to hold up to trail use.

I just need to find a spot to run the wire through the cab and under the trim. Due to road salt in winter, I think I'll get plastic wire loom and then some stainless wire loom and seal it very well to prevent the wire from getting corroded.

This has been a work in progress due to working 6 days a week.

Got the external signal boost amp wire ran into the cab.

That was fun. I encased it in 3/8" steel wire loom. Then wrapped it in 1/2" plastic convoluted wire loom. Then used electrical tape in a spiral pattern to hold the wire loom in place. This will ensure that the wire is protected from mag chloride, rock salt and any other corrosive de-icers that are used on the highway. Any of those agents making contact with a wire, even with a standard rubber shielding will get corroded and severed. But not mine.

Pulled the rear taillight, fed the cable through the inside upper bed and over the fender well hump, down the side of the bed and in front of the rear tire on the passenger side, up above the frame rails and I found a rubber grommet to pass the cable end through. Ran some 3/8" and 1/2" plastic wire loom, taped it and punched a small hole through the carpet and connected the wire to the signal boost amp.

Just have to relocate the interior antenna to the front driver side of the cab and connect it and I should be good to go. Working on that last part now.

The best part is the antenna has a quick release mount so when I'm not in the truck, I can keep my antenna from getting stolen.

I simply disconnect the wire, take the antenna off and stow it in the truck.

    And done!

It gets its first real test next Sunday when I head to the San Juans for some off roading and mountain time. I will update results once I return to Denver.

I've been on the fence for a year about what to do about connectivity. Was looking at WeBoost for a long time. But it is my understanding, if you have no signal on your devise, WeBoost is going to do nothing for you. Is this a fact? Or, will it pull in a signal when you seemingly have none? TY

as long as it has even the most minimal signal, it can boost it. But it has to have a slight signal. It's not able to create its own signal from nothing. So your assessment is correct.

I've read several things online where guys said they took their truck to the mountains and got signal in places where their phone wouldn't work before they got the booster amp. So who really knows.

I can't wait till the weekend to really test it out and see how it performs.
