What up fellas!!! So I need some feedback...I just got my website up and running a few days ago, I'm still tweaking things and making changes here and there. But at least I was able to get something up after a couple of months of nothing!

I plan on adding more content but for now this will do! Anyway please take a look at it when you get a chance! And let me know what you guys think!

looks slick man. i would remove or shorten that top margin on the 1st and 2nd pages so visitors don't have to scroll down to see everything. otherwise very nice!

    i'm on firefox 3.0.8

Not bad. easy to navigate and showcases your work well by having the plain background. It may be cool to make one of your favorite pics the background though.

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Just a few comments. I'd probably have some sort of button or text that says" enter" or something. It could be very subtle perhaps at the bottom in small grey text. Secondly, the width is a bit too wide even at a high resolution. Mine is set at 1024 and it still goes off the page. Lastly, the photo viewer acts funky. If you use the scroll wheel on the mouse, it starts flipping through the photos, which is almost impossible not to do since the site is so wide.

Visually its simple and easy enough to read and understand. Excellent photography.

Yeah I am trying to fix the width problem, and I just finished the script so the pictures don't scroll with the mouse wheel! I just have to add it to the pages!

Thanks for the comments! I have listed all your concerns and I will be addressing them all! :)

    Nice site!

How long did it take you to do it?

Only one suggestion: Do you plan on putting up a contact page just in case people like you and wanna hire you?

    2 things:

First, lose the top margin. It's dead space that only serves to make people have to scroll if they aren't running monstor displays - big turn off.

Second, where everyone doesn't run mega screens or tiny resolution, narrow up the screens so there isn't so much horizontal scrolling needed. The home page and the next level in was OK, but the pics pages had a nasty left margin causing the page to out pace the width of the screen. Again, big turn off.

Other than that, loads nices, content looks good. Over all a nice looking site - just a pain to view some pages as noted above.

Everything looks, and works great. I did not have any of the issues as others have noted with scrolling. I am running a 1680x1050 resolution. IE 7.0.6001.18000

    Awesome pictures!

EDIT: On further thought, it would be nice to click on the picture and get an expanded hi-res view.

I think I got all the kinks worked out now! I was able to fix all the margins, and I was also able to write a new script which removed the use of the scroll button on the mouse!

If you guys catch anything else please let me know!

Thanks for the compliments guys! My goal was to always build a clean simple site to showcase my work! Like I mentioned before I still have a lot of stuff to add, I.E a contact/About me page! It's coming...the site will only get better with time!

    Thanks for all your help!!!

Sir Marlon I really dig the photos!!!

    A minor critique:

    1) The Splash Page to enter your site isn't necessary, just one extra step to get to viewing your awesome photos.

    2) Instead of using a flash gallery, I would go with a free js/php gallery. The reason for this, is that if someone likes a photo on your site and wants to direct them to the URL to view that photo. You would only be able to send them the main album URL:

    EX: http://www.sirmarlon.com/Off-Road_Photos/Azusa_OHV/Azusa.html

But with a php script you can automate your albums and display "Clean" URL's to direct you to the actual photo itself.

    http://www.sirmarlon.com/Off-Road_Photos/Azusa_OHV/name_of_photo

Here's a good list of opensource galleries:

So I made some changes to my site...I mainly gave it a face lift and added some info...can you guys check it out and let me know what you think and if you find any typos or have some browser bugs in your end! Thanks for the feedback!!
