    Sounds the same as mine.

I was sitting in the back during a light rain with the tent up, and was watching a very regular drip coming off a few of the frame to extrusion bolts. I don't end up camping in rain very often, so I haven't bothered to look into it further.

I got loads of leaking when the top was closed and the bed platform wasn’t in the section nearest the tailgate.

What does GFC have to say about this? I live in the PNW and my camper will be out in the weather year around, so this is a critical issue for me.

Called Ace this morning, sounds like he was closing the tent with a panel opening in the rear like what @trouttaco was experiencing. The tent was not designed to have the rearmost panels removed when closed, and the solution is to either close the camper with all panels in place, or leave the rear rectangular panel in place and remove one or two square panels in the middle.

Had the opportunity to write in TCT Magazine about the trip to Baja that @tacomgee and I took over the summer with our Drifters. Check it out if you have the time.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Man that was an awesome write up! Sounds like the trip was full of adventure and some close calls. The pics were killer!

As always, there's about 4000 different ways to enjoy backcountry living, but I don't see a Sprinter conversion as a backcountry benchmark.

If you want a $70k 13 foot tall hightop that's ok with me, you did say there are sacrifices. They have their place in the 4000 different ways to go out and about.
