Week 4: Crunched Skid Plate

    So it turns out that the stock skid plates won't hold the weight of our trucks. At least not mine.

    I was driving on a washed out trail behind my house today and ever so slowly eased my front right tire into a washed out segment of the trail. It was just deep enough that the truck slid a bid on the skid plates. And damn it if those stock skid plates did deform under the weight. Too dark for pics, I'm afraid.

    Oh, well. The truck isn't quite one month old yet, but I guess it's never to early to start considering upgrades. Might have to take a drive over to All Pro.

    Not sure if you can tell. The skid plate isn't destroyed. But it did bend. Hmm.

    brush guard, piaa foggs, tinted tail light, tinted windows, rain guards, pure white with blue tinted bulbd all over, white bulbs for licencess plate lighting, blacked out head lights
    yea you flick the stock plates and dent them id go with budbuilt their beastly i had the entire front of the of the truck land from bout 3 ft and land right on the skids didnt even dent them i swear their beastly
