We had 8 "club house" tickets to watch the soccer triple header this weekend at Foxboro...
Pat's games can be fun BUT soccer brings a whole new concept to "fans"...
1st game was the Rev's -v- KC .boring:bored: tied but a lousy 90 minutes of ball..
2nd game was the best USA-v- Haiti our boys had their hands full and J.Heaps literally handed the Haiti club a win till the 90th minute...Home boys tied it....This is where the "Fans" get fun.....good old boy 3 seats down has already spilled 2 beers, one on a father /son 3 rows in front of him and the other on his girl....now he gets to screaming at the teams, ref and anyone who will listen:rolleyes:.......the girls and I start to "chime" in as his echo;) this gets the Haiti fans in front of us in the "playful mood" and the "Game" is on.....
Before the loooooong evening is over this young man has a new respect for both the "Game" and fans.....and I have a few new friends that just "LOVE" the game of soccer.....
The last game;Honduras-v- Greneda.....4- nill Honduras.....long flight home for Greneda boys...but great way for the younger girls ( 20 somethings) to see "foreign fans"...they live for their teams and Gillette was a sea of colors, shirts ,hats, small flags and of course the LARGE flags....

Did I mention my love for soccer ;):D is almost to a "Taco" level :cool:
