weight placement for large lip wheels

    just ordered a new set of dc1s for my taco and just wondering if you hav pics showing where they put the weights for tire balancing.doesnt hav to be a dc1.any large lip wheel with the weights in the pics will do.just wanna hav an idea how they balance.thanks.

    like where they put the weight if you take it in to a shop? or am I misunderstanding you? If not then all the tires we have with big lips the put strips on the inside were you can see them not the clips they put on reg. rims. hope that helps if not I tried...

    ^^ yup..sticky weights on the inside back of the rim

    If you're worried about 'looks' - do some research on EQUAL tire balancing.

    It's good stuff. My husband and I had it in our Jeep tires (35 x 12.50 x 15) for atleast 4 years without any problems or issues. And that's even with a lot of airing down/airing up, etc.

    You just need to find a shop who installs it and knows how much to use. The amount that is used can be critical.

    yup im worried about how it looks and dont want the vibe as well.as long as they put it in the inside of the wheel ill be happy with that.thanks for the info.
