i have a 05 prerunner dc and notice it has a weird kick when stopped at say like stop lights.

when i make a complete stop, and my foot is on the break peddle the vehicle kinda makes a kick forward motion as if it changed gears. its nothing too dramatic but something that i was wondering if other taco owners are experiencing. if not any idea what it can be?

Yep, most likely its the A/C that is causing it to do that. Mine tends to behave like that when it's on.

Its normal. When comming to a stop, your truck stays in second gear for a few secs. After you are stopped, then it dropps into 1st gear. thats when you feel the "jump". :)

Sure do! Any truck with long, and soft rear springs can have it. With the AAL I had made, I have a very little bit every now and then. :)

Sounds to me like the drive by wire system is goosing the throttle as the rpm's drop a little too low when you stop. SOP

It's the auto tranny, it's shifting into a lower gear, thus increasing the torque. You don't get it on a manual tranny cause you're usually stepping on the clutch when coming to a stop, or putting it in neutral.

I have never experienced this, oddly enough.
