Few weeks ago a member and I installed some 5100s and icon UCAs, went and did the alignment, all was great. started hearing this sound a few days ago And I just cant pinpoint to what and exactly where its coming from. I suspect perhaps over torque? It sounds like rubber on rubber creaking. watch this video for reference I took today.

I am stumped. what are your thoughts?

I don't think there is a zurc fitting on it. I don't have the Delta's on that icon UCA. Just standard ball. I did deal them up with the dustcaps. Unless I missed something

Yeah IVD joint noise makers bad choice for the desert you can try CRC PTFE dry lube but it won’t last. If it were me I’d go SPC or JBA won’t look as cool but nice, quiet and just as strong...Good luck

I am in the pacific northwest. before I leave I will most likely replace them with the delta joints.

Ball joints are not uca joints. The uca might not be your problem, as it should only make noise with vertical wheel articulation, not turning movements. I would check torque on the ball joint (might be too low or high) and make sure the boot isn't ripped (still holding gease around the ball joint). Did you do final torque with full weight of vehicle on the wheels?
