Well, it's finally official! Just ordered my 2010 Taco

On top of Toyota Loyalty of $1250 dealer came down $1500 from sticker and makes first payment. Got the Hood Protector and Bed Mat for free...and wholesale on the Side Steps.

It might not sound like a great deal to most of you...but it's the best I could get here in Atlantic Canada!

Silver is a great colour. My last car was silver and it was really easy to keep clean. I wanted something different this time so I got black. I really think that black is cool but it real hard to keep clean.

Make sure that the drive shaft recall has been completed before you pick up your new truck. They probably fix them in the factory now but I would double check. Also, you might want to get the transmission TSB reflash done if it hasn't already been done.

Local dealer would only come down $250-$350 on first 2 offers, so I emailed the dealers in Charlottetown, Moncton, Saint John, and Amherst.
Saint John was really aggressive - $1000 off plus bedmat without me asking.

I sent that offer to Charlottetown and Moncton, and was asked by Charlottetown to come in talk. 2 hours later I ordered the truck.

They were going to bring one in from another dealer, until he checked next weeks delivery list and noticed one on the trailer that he would try to get instead. Sweeeeet...should have only a few km's on her.

 

They are adicting. I have had mine less than a year and my boss just bought a new 2010 and we have another guy in the shop trading in his H2 for one!
