This upper is the last upper you will ever need, it is worth every penny. Think of colts, BMs, DPMS, Rem, S&W, as Camrys where this bitch is a Lexus LFA.

    http://www.lwrci.com/p-101-m6a2-556-uppers.aspx

This rifle here is probably THE BEST bang for your buck AR in existence. While not as nice as a LWRC it is still light years beyond a Bushmaster, colt or Smith and Wesson M&P for roughly the same price.

That was sweet but no where near 1800 worth for what i'll use it for. Hell if it kills groundhogs and maybe a dear sized animal good enough for me lol.

    I want a RRA upper!

    http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=259

I have an AR i put together with parts I wanted. I put a 16" fluted YHM barrel in it with a Spikes Tactical hand guard and Magpul stock and MIAD grip. Love the way it handles.

    http://www.spikestactical.com/new/z/complete-uppers-c-194.html

I want to build my next AR with a 20" or longer barrel.
I have few more places i have ordered parts from. I will have to update this later when i can find the links.

Yeah I'm starting to lean to the 20in. side. I like the feel of a longer rifle for offhand distance shooting.

Doubletap Ammo figures you lose 150-200 fpm in velocity going from the 20" to a 16" barrel. Since I don't plan on doing any close quarter clearing of rooms my Bushmaster has the 20" barrel.

You don't even have an AR yet and it sounds like you already have BRD( Black Rifle Disease) :D

I'd start with a M4 style first and once the disease takes over you will probably end up with a SBR + a suppressor and a MK12 Mod 0 at the very least. :headbang:

Yeah the suppressor is going on the next rifle i build already got that one planned out lol. I'm picking my lower up this weekend hopefully so i wanna get my upper ordered by saterday night. I got paid early thanks to active duty checking account lol. I'll worry about hand guards and such after i pick out my upper. But i will have a detachable bipod for those long shots at critters
