I bought the truck brand new off the lot. It has 4,400 miles on it. The only thing I've done is put the step bars, tint the windows a tad and the wheels/tires.

No idea. Here it is before the wheels and tires.

Nah, that's just the combination of 1" oversized in diameter, with a big negative offset.

I'm with KPT - go with a wheel with more backspacing and positive offset.

Well I went back today because he called and said he got the smaller size tires in. Instead of 265/70 he has 265/65, same BFGs. And yes, the tires are safe to put on rims that are 7-9 inches.

That was the key. I was able to keep my wheels and the truck has absolutely no rubbing at all! It was a half inch difference in sidewall height and that's all that was needed! :)

i don't even recommend trimming zip tie the front out of the way it works the same way and then you can alway's go back to stock if you like in the future.

and for the rear use a heat gun and a blow torch with some propane or map gas to "gently" shape the fender flare and the inside of the wheel well around the pinch weld to maximize clearance.

    hope this help lady :)

I rub with my 9" wheels on 265 70 17. I also have almost 2.5" lift up front. My fault for listening to the guys at four wheel parts.

It rubs in the back by the flaps AND the front at full crank, doesn't it?

I took off the flaps and it still rubbed. I didn't want to cut any part of the truck yet. It's still too new.

If I got a blow torch in my hands, the whole truck would somehow turn black and little smoke trails would rise. You don't want ME near anything like that. I am the master of disaster.

    But thanks for the ideas!

When it comes to fire propelling tools, I think Chris 4x2 holds the title of Master of Disaster (amongst other titles I'm sure). :)
