Well @DES2009 u can add me to the V1 failure list. Idk if mine smoked a wire somewhere or I’m just missing the fuse. I checked both the under hood and drivers dash but couldn’t find a popped fuse.

I had posted the relevant schematic here. You could check the two fuses shown in the lines going to the mirror if you haven't already done so. If that's not it then I dunno. Maybe @caribe makaira may have an idea...

DMM to the I8, then to IN1 (sail panel connector driver's side.) Maybe an added item is intervening with the flow.

    So,

    pin6 on I8 to pin13 on IN1

    &

    Pin10 to pin14 for continuity?

    Yes.
Do you have any other item attached to IN1?

Tbh, idk where in1 is. I’m looking up connector diagrams right now haha.

Edit, it’s literally in the sail panel lol. Idk where that circuit runs, but I’m almost positive that’s the only thing.

Oh shit. Both of them installed. I didn’t realize they were all pulling from the same circuit

They are not, they use the same IN1 to tie into.

Ahh I see, for potential continuity issues you’re saying?

So in1 comes from the A pillar then goes up towards the headliner then the mirror / console area up there?

Went to do this mod today and the adapter was DOA. Mirror still worked but no power to camera. I got it off Amazon, now they are out of stock and so is the website. Got a message in to customer service. Will hafta see how it goes.

I have a pair of red tiger f7n camera’s (available on Amazon) in my corolla. With a little work you can route the cables and have a mostly clean setup. Just a small amount of wire hanging down from the headliner. 360° of footage while driving and an app to download the videos. 4k on front and back and 1080p on the sides.

Leaning towards the Blackvue setup for my Tacoma.
