Glad to hear you're ok!! I'm hoping to get a bike in the next few years, and totally bank on riding ready for the fall. Happy you did the same.

Wow. I'm glad you made it out. Every experienced motocyclist I have met, have laid down their bikes one time or another. A few of them have spoken of an old adage that goes "There are two type of motorcyclist: The ones who have crashed and the ones who are going to crash". Those kind of odds scare me away from purchasing a motorcyle. Of course, you get the wannabe tough guys that say "I have never crashed and never will", sometime in the near future they always do. Again, I'm glad you made it out. Be safe, always.

Just go ahead and get it over with as long as there aren't any weird smells. It's really not that bad.

Sounds like kind of a mood killer, unless they buzz or something.

I don't necessarily think that everyone is going to crash. My dad rides and has never been down. He rides a BMW with the neon green jacket (other riders probably know the type lol). But he rides very very defensively. I could have gone slower. I mean the speed limit was 30 mph and I was doing 40 and maybe I could have missed the object all together but I'm just gonna take it as a learning experience and move on. I went back out today and went over all of my fundamentals slow, look, press, and roll and panic stops up to stop signs etc.

I think I'm gonna join NESBA soon and start doing track days to take my riding to the next level.

THANK YOU for wearing your gear! I am so glad you are ok.
Idiot I work with just went down (for the 2nd time) wearing shorts and a tee shirt, no helmet, no nothing. Totalled the bike and both he and his passenger (their first date!) got some nice rash and stitches.
AND then, to top it off, moron goes out and gets a ZX14 with the insurance money.

Bike is fixed for $120 bucks from a friend. Sweet. Looks great too. Only now all that's left on that side is "UZUKI" lol. New graphics kit is on order.

Darwinism, haha, that's what I was thinking. I truly hope he has learned something from this last spill. He seems to be hanging with some decent guys and he's going to go take a class at a track down in Oklahoma with the new bike so we'll see.

Cool dude, glad it didn't cost too much.

PS, your new sig pic is badass!

sadly, I've only put Husky Liners in it thus far - tend to blow all my cash on my bikes and guitars.
Don't get suckered into the old verbage about riders gone down or will go down -- not true, just circumstancial......glad you're not hurt and that your bike survived as well.
But next time if you're gonna crash, do it in the dirt on a bike that's built to take a beating!! Haha
