After the water subsides, might want to change all fluids underneath. I romp around in water on some of the trails I run. Have been in deep several times, one starter, several sensors under the seats, a lot of dirty carpet . Always left truck running when stuck in said conditions, never had a miss fire problem, as stated above, I would check the coils and and associated hardware and wiring. Good luck man.

Tranny fluid was good , need to check differential as recommended above and for sure the coils.
    Thanks

I'm a Jeeper too! No JEEP (real Jeep CJ) was ever made with an OBD port? Did you find a mod to add a computer some how? Why would you? Seems like a pain in the rear-end. Although, 1987+ there have been some Chrysler convertibles made with OBD's built in. :)

    There are JEEP-JEEPS (AMC) and CHRYSLER-JEEPS (1987-1995, 1997-2016) :)

My perfect jeep would be to find a 1978 CJ7, only year ever made with available 304, 360, 401 V-8 and T-18 4-speed trans, Dana 300 TC, Dana 44 front and rear!

No not yet, have been busy with new house stuff. Going to start with cleaning the MAF, then check the ignition coils...however not getting any codes, very strange.

    Update
Studdering seems to have faded. Not sure if whatever was wet dried but doesn't seem to be studdering anymore ! Probably as Kastilyo and others suggested wet ignition coil, not 100% positive but running good.

    Thanks for all the suggestions

I would still check the diff as it is likely contaminated if it was in that deep of water. Unless you have the diff breather relocated. I believe the front diff and transfer case breathers are in the engine bay, but the rear diff breather is right on top of the pumpkin. All you need is a union and a few feet of fuel line, I put mine up in the bed cubby. Glad it seems to be worked out for you.
