Went to the woods this morning. Got back and went to restart to go to the dump and pushed in clutch and turned key to start and lost all power.

Hooked to my Tundra to see if battery had lost power but am thinking fuse or battery fault.

Any idea where to start and main fuses to check?

    No lights or anything?

id start at battery terminals, make sure they’re tight. Then the under hood fuse box.

Ha this just happened to me!

did you hear one fast click then everything went dead? I pulled the terminals cleaned everything really good tightened back down. Also unplugged the starter solenoid connector and plugged back in.

Check your voltage on the posts, check to fuse box. Check to starter. Mine fired right up after reconnecting the starter connector. Thinking the solenoid is binding causing something to flip.

Did you just check if there terminals were tight? I've had tight clean looking terminals that were corroded, a quick clean and everything was good.

    Check grounds and fuses.

Did you replace the starter or just disconnect/reconnect everything?

Crazy how it can kill all the electronics in the truck... must be some self-resetting breaker somewhere.

    Disconnected, cleaned and then relanded.

Never would have thought that but did hear the one click thing and thought something was seriously messed up

If it happens again let me know. Going to be running new electrical cables soon and was thinking of replacing the starter while at it... just to be safe.
