I'm getting the vibration at certain speeds, mainly from 15mph decelerating to zero, shakes the dash and you can feel it slightly in the floor. For reference I did have the TSB leaf pack done like 50,000 miles ago so I know these vibes are coming from the front. I'm not getting the trademark grinding grumbling sound i've heard in some videos, YET, but i'm anticipating that I will once I put on my Fox suspension more than likely this weekend. Just exploring my avenues. If it turns out bad and I can do the 2WD to 4WD switch and it stops i'll bring it to the dealer, easier to prove that way.

Regardless, this bearing's coming out this year.

Does this mean they should keep fixing my door lock actuators, and my throw out bearing?

Get under the truck, grab the CV axle on the driver's side, and try to wiggle it. if it moves in the diff you should do the bearing. look for diff fluid on the diff around the CV. If you are doing your suspension, you might as well do the bushing at the same time, since you have to take it apart anyway.

Is it an automatic? The auto trucks had a tsb for a vibration when coming to a stop.

I have the lose CV like virtually every taco does and I did bring it to the dealer when it was in warranty, before I knew about the TSB, and they just told me the lose CV and vibration is "normal". I didn't put up much of a stink, I was just happy it was documented while still in warranty.

    It is an automatic, yes.

Haha.... typical, I was told multiple times by toyota dealers "it's normal for these trucks".

Honestly, you should order the ECGS bushing and an axle seal. The bushing it's about $60, which is nothing when you think if what you might spend on suspension. Do it at the same time as your suspension and you will save a ton in labor.

I'm not going to do it at the same time as my suspension unfortunately, i'm just going to see how it plays out. If it gets any worse than it is now after I put my coilovers on this weekend i'm going to bring it to the dealer first to try for the TSB.

I'll report back after I get the coilovers on this weekend.
