Whoa... I've been considering these also. My mom's car has them from the factory and they're pretty nice on a cold morning but not at the cost of setting the truck on fire! Remote start it is

Heck with heated ones ... I live in Arizona where are the cooled ones :) I have looked at some of the higher end cars that come with heated and cooled seats. The wife is always complaining of cold seats but she is happy now she got her Highlander with the heated seats. I wish I could get cooled seats in my Taco that is on order for the summers around here.

I loved the heated seats in my Prelude! Sooo nice when its cold out.
I was contemplating heaters if I ever get some WOs. I would love some ass-on experience and a pic of the wiring. Is is just an ugly connector to the 12v outlet?

The heaters are nice. They come with an outlet you plug into your 12v socket. It get's you playing right away and later you can do a mod to make it look more permanent. The control has 3 heat levels, but they all seem hot as hell to me once they warm up. I can't leave it on any setting too long. Not trying to say that's bad. Once it gets warm I turn it off and the seats seem to retain the heat for a long time. I think it's a great way to add the feature to your Taco.
