I got a sport color matched grill for good price and replaced my melted ARB bumper lights.

I didnt think the front grille came apart like that. How much effort did it take? I hate the chrome on the front end.

Nice to see someone else is enjoying my old truck. Although i traded it in at universal toyota and that person must of sold it and your the proud owner of a taco. All I can say it was a funny truck and built right. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. The sliders were custom built by a guy in san marcos and the rear bumper is from http://www.tacticalarmorgroup.com/T...71/List/1/CategoryID/429/Level/a/Default.aspx and yes thats your truck in the pick.

I was looking at you build. You do good work. I knew that had to be my truck. The guy traded in at my friends lot here in New Braunfels for an F250. The lot is now closed down.

Not sure if this is even a build or just fix what Toyota did not do?
I have yet to do my lower BJ, CV axle and now center support bearing (or carrier bearing).

Had a buddy install my carrier bearing. I gave him some new 9008 silverstars I had and bought him some wiper blades. Not a bad deal lol. I've had the bulbs for who knows how long (still in package) and the beam wipers cost me $26 for the pair.

Vibrations are very minimal now. Sweet. :D

I still have my blue truck, it's the twin of that one almost down here in San Antonio. Shrockworks front bumper looks similar and AllPro sliders. I still haven't replaced my rear bumper, still stock...... Of course I've been considering trading it off if I can find a 4x4 - Mine is a PreRunner. I had known that 07taco had traded his off as I talked to his pop one day driving by the house. Heck, I should have offered to get his.......

Yeah I bought a few parts back from 07taco. Cool guy. Doesn't off-road any more.

Finally got around or fixing things on my truck drives so much better.

Since day one it had a vibration. First thought it needed to be balanced. Then possibly rims. After that thought I'd have to live with it.

Did a few things and it's so much smoother now.

Finally replaced my lower ball joints LH cv and both hub bearings. Since it was loud from day one never realized it was the hubs making so much noise. The bad thing was their was minimal play in them. But now that they're off I can tell they've been messed up for some time.

Also got my 4x4 actuator fixed. And did the locker anytime mod. Can't wait to use it.

Apparently there's a guy here in New Braunfels that's converting his prerunner to 4WD. But it would be cheaper to just trade it in for a 4wd of coarse.

Prolly cheaper, but a WHOLE lotta work. I've been on the boards here for a couple of days as I need to replace my front bearing assys too. Been studying on if I wanna buy those the guy sells here or do it myself. Gott 133,000 miles on it, guess from the sounds of others here they lasted longer than alot of the others. I've decided to try to do it myself. Just now ordered the bearings and will pick up a shop press and I'll still come out way ahead. I used to live a few blocks away from 07Taco, used to see each other all over town. Problem with finding a 4x4 version is if I wanna keep my bumper, gotta find an '11 or older. Something changed after that year for the attachment...

I hear ha. I bought my hubs from bamatoy1997. The 4WD hubs are a lot cheaper.

I've had a few 2wd and never needed 4wd. But now that I had it I've got my self in some situations where it makes me think how'd I ever make it with out 4WD.
