I have a 2000 Tacoma Prerunner, everything is stock. 225/75R15 is on it now but I wanna go larger, maybe a 265/75r15 or 30x9. What’s the largest tire I can put on without scrubbing?

biggest tire you can put on a stock truck without a lift and no rubbing issues is 31x10.5/R15 (265/75r15)

I think you could get some 31x10.50’s on there. I’m running 265/75/16’s on my 2004 with no lift. A 265/75/16 is 31.6” tall. A 265/75/15 is 30.6” tall.

Also depends on wheel backspacing and alignment. You should be fine with what you are looking at.

I really like my 235/85/16s, no rub and just a little bit more ground clearance.

31x10.5x15" on my 00 Tacoma. 2000 was the last year for 15's, 01's came with 16". I had a little rub at full turn, heat gun and a couple whacks from a small sledge hammer, no more rub. Bought it new in September 2000. 4 wheeling took the front mud flaps off 15+ years ago.upload_2020-7-5_23-45-24.jpg

You could look for a 32 but you have to look for a skinny 32 for stock wheels.

It depends on your truck too. Snowater and I have the same year truck, I had the trd aluminum 6 spoke with BFG K02's. I had no rub at all throughout my suspension travel.
