    Tacoma with some stuff melted to it
    Long travel kits are around $3-4k with shocks. That is not including wheels, tires, fenders, etc. That is a huge leap to go from 6" lift to long travel. You would be much better with a good mid travel set up with what you will be doing. Go to the mid travel BS thread and look around. Unless you like a lifted truck with no purpose I would stay away from drop bracket 6" lifts. The ride quality sucks and you have no gain in ground clearance or travel

    Same thing i want! haha good....well someone said it doesnt come with from coilcovers...what exactly is that? like will i need to get shocks or anything??

    Yeah i mainly am doing it for looks and plan on getting and older Tacoma to off road in after i get my next truck all set up...but will the ride quality be that bad? Thats one thing i would like...and would just replacing the shocks help that?

    no it comes with everything you need...the coil overs are about 1500 bucks more. basically you can adjust the height in the front with coilovers...i am not a big fan of the pro comp coilovers so i left those out and went with the stage 1 instead. once i save up more money..i would like to upgrade and get something other than pro comp.

    the "'bad" ride quality typically comes from having blocks on the rear...i myself don't really have an issue with the ride at this time, but that's my personal opinion. your best bet is to get a test drive with someone who has a 6" lift and see what you think of it...

    The lift doesn't increase your ground clearance like other lifts would. There would be a higher chance of you hitting the ground on something with a drop bracket.

    Long travel isn't what you need even though it is sweet...

    If I were you I would look into this kit: Great all around for what your looking for.

    Only a 3" even though you're looking for a 6" though...

    All around it is better (ride quality, off road capability) and still will provide that lifted look you're going for.

    shhhh...dont let people know that there is a better, cheaper, and higher quality alternative to getting a drop bracket lift! Then we wouldnt have any 2wd Drop Bracket trucks to envy!

    Well i mean i was asking a question not asking for inputs...i like the 6 inch and dont off road so no reason for me to hate it...and if i decide i dont like it i can just take it off and get a 3 inch

    Too much height is going to hurt in many ways. Your agility and braking will be gone. Stick with a 2 1/2 inch your alignment will be decent and your tires will thank you.
