So I want to get a shorter antenna for my 2012... and it got me to thinking: how many people replace their antenna? Either for repairs, function or looks.

Post your brand, length, and a pic, if you have one. I want to get ideas. As of right now, I'm thinking of going with a 6" rigid stainless steel replacement.

I have a 8" shorty. I got it mostly for looks. But its nice not to have it hitting off anything than flinging back and forth. I listen to Siruis, so reception was not a big deal to me. Got mine from www.shortyantennasource.com.

I am curious on the reception of those with stubby antennas, especially the ones from cravenspeed.com. My power antennas just went out and I am going to replace it with a non-powered antenna. I do live in the a major city, so for day to day driving it is not an issue, but for road trips or off-roading...
