AntennaX, I ordered mine from you off of eBay. I figured for the price I'll give it a try.

The 15" works better than the shorter ones I have tried in the past and was surprised at the signal once installed. The OEM antenna hardly pulled in any channels and I was even thinking of changing the radio.

I installed this and I couldn't believe all the channels I started pulling in. :yay:

I have the cravenspeed stubby too and the reception is horrible no matter where I am. Some stations dont even come across at all, its just silence. I might send it back.

I only listen to my iPod, after selling my Avalanche and G37s where I only listened to XM. I would get a shortie (non-bendable one for purely cosmetic reasons)

    Just got it!
They're for people like me who don't use the radio and want a cheap, low-profile antenna. I got the 5"

    Thanks

I always go buy a replacement mast at Autozone and chop it an inch or two shorter than the roofline depending on the slope.

Where's the "Don't have an antenna" option? :D
The dude that had the truck before me broke it off or something. Think I'll have to drill it out to slap a new one on. Just haven't done it yet. Not really in a rush. I got a couple CDs.

I went and bought a replacement antennae (universal).
Removed the ball by hitting downward on the channel locks with a hammer.
    2e8yne3a_b8bc7890244944aa595160e128d96474a12fd33b.jpg
Then I cut it where I wanted it. Ground the end of it to a point.
    4uqegu9y_96a64f33e10668fba9b50f4a5fdb515ced3c12bd.jpg
Then I used a dab of JB Weld to attach the ball to the mast.

I need to take a couple more inches off, but this is what I got.
    qemuhube_5e71e170d74ea2304d2e2728d24317c44ff5d2db.jpg
    Took two more inches off.

yes, we do now as we have noticed that people still want/buy the short ones even though reception is not that great.
