I have a badass antenna I picked up from 4wheelparts 2 days ago. It's about 5 inches long, black powder coat and beefy. They had 1 more that was about 9 inches long. Anyways, my stock antenna was ripped off at a car wash and I replaced it with a stubby antenna (the $13 dollar one) and put an antenna ball and it bent and lost the powder coat through the years. It worked fine as far as reception goes.

I'll post a pic and the brand of the new antenna.....I think a lot of people will like it. It cost $27 but worth it IMO. Reception is good.

Just installed the AntennaX stubby on both the Taco and SWMBO's Rav4.
    Haven't checked reception yet.

I had the CravenSpeed Stubby and the reception was terrible... only one of my preset stations had any reception and the only other stations that came in were terrible...

    Seems to work just fine.

Haven't ventured beyond metro Los Angeles, but before I do that I'll have Sirius up and running.

Switched to an S2000 antenna. Shorter than the antennaX and the base matches perfect to the mounting base from our trucks. Much cleaner.

do you sell a steel antenna that is about 4" shorter than stock? I just need to avoid hitting my garage door, but do not want to sacrifice my rural reception
