Mine has them also on both sides. They are more circular though (actually perfect circles) I think this is where stickers or something are placed on the assembly line or something that left it looking like this. will try to post a pic the evening. I don't mind it really at all, just wish i could get this buzzing to stop under the glove compartment.

You probably have a bad bearing in your blower motor, which is under the glove compartment. It's a common issue and the dealer will replace under warranty. I am getting mine replaced (2013) on Friday.

As for the spots...Someone should plastic-dip it, let us know how it turns out.

Would the bad bearing on the blower motor cause this to only happen at 1000-1300 rpms? Somewhere i heard it was a clip associated with the airbag that is behind the glove. Pretty much willing to try whatever lol

Nope, it happens when the heat/ac is on. For me, only on the highest setting. Sounds like you might have a different issue, sorry! I would take it to the dealer. These issues are why we have a warranty!

Haha, well I'm hoping that the replacement blower will blow better because right now my blower kind of blows at blowing. :bananadance:

new is one thing. perfection is another.

I've had the perfectionist disease most of my life. I have at my age finally conceded to seek excellence in lieu of perfection.
