“The 12th man” was excellent. Crazy Norwegian WWII story.

 

That was a great story. WWII lore is still amazing to me.

LORE Season 2 is out. Some of that true stuff is freaky. Here is something, the last story about rockets and the devil guy. Well the has part of the founding of the company I am retiring from. They actually say the name of the company. I was like WTH??/ Interesting to say the least.

 

Movie recommendation: Apple TV, “Greyhound”, Tom Hanks, WWII, Atlantic, submarine wolfpack verses convoy.

Two thumbs up.

Crazy that 72,000+ people were lost (sunk) in convoys across the Atlantic during the war effort. Puts things into perspective.

 

Another Atlantic war film: “Das Boot”, submarine warfare from the German perspective. Its a 1980-ish German film. I prefer the German language with English sub titles but its hard to find. I imagine it can be found on Netflix. There is a series called Das Boot on Hulu but that’s all I know.

 

It’s an Apple TV Production - You will not find it anywhere else.

 

How much is a subscription? And I assume I can stream through Roku.........but that may not be a given.

 

Founder on Netflix was a good watch. Story of Ray Kroc, McDonalds. Queens Gambit was very good. My sister suggested Racheted, I could not get by the second episode.

 

The 5th and penultimate season of The Expanse drops on Prime on 12/16/20. If you're into good sci fi, it's a show you'd want to check out.

Just finished "High Score" on Netflix. It's a doc on the history of video games and the early pioneers in the industry.
I really enjoyed it, good bit of nostalgia and info.

I got sucked into the Korean show VOICE (NF) which is all subtitles but for some reason I couldn't stop watching season 1, 16 episodes. I have never READ so much TV in my life.
