Looks like the Leer Aluminum Contractor cap I just picked up. Got it used from one of those cap stores for $500. Kind of a PITA not having windows though so I am adding a backup camera.

if you have side airbags, do NOT install the bolt that is one forward from the furthest back bolt. I will take a picture of mine for you. The side airbags will hit.

Also, are you ready to drill 10 holes in your roof and cut your bed sides?

Also, Brute Force is cool.. pay half down, and half + shipping when its done.

No airbags (2008) so I'm good there. Hell yea I'm ready to do some drilling and cutting :sawzall:
Also when I bought my taco (used) it had seemingly been rear ended and the stock rear bumper got pushed into the bedside. It's not noticeable but the paint was cracked and it has started to rust so I figure I just gotta cut it off and go hi-clearance!

Did you buy a rivet tool? or did you use what was provided? I'm looking at getting one of the Astro 1442/1423 tools. Installing those nutserts or rivetnuts seems more daunting than drilling the holes.

I'd definitely spring for a rivnut tool because after pulling mine manually, I wish I had done it. Half mine came out just a little crooked and I couldn't get the bolts in without crossthreading in. I had to just rail them down with an impact, and who knows if it'll ever come off. I think the proper tool would have saved a lot of time and also kept them straight.
