What camper shell is this?

    I was hoping someone could shed some light on what model shell this is? I know it is an ARE, which is obvious from the logo, but can anyone tell me more? I picked it up for 400 bucks which I thought was a pretty good deal.

    That is a great deal. Post a pic of it on your truck when you get a chance. They look great with the short beds. I keep having to vacuum my truck out after taking my dog places, so a cap would be perfect for him. I don't feel comfortable putting my best friend in an open truck bed.

    are z series...note its got that better loooking handle on the back there...you got a great deal on that with a rack even!!! damn by the way there should be a metal tag inside on the roof saying what it is

    That is an ARE Z-series topper for sure. I know because I had that exact same topper on my '05 DC short bed when I still owned it. Really nice topper and at $400 bucks it is a steal deal. Like mentioned above the rack and mounts are worth 400 alone! Only problem for your best friend is that the windows don't slide, they only push out a couple inches, so he won't be able to stick his head out and let his ears flap in the wind...
